Hell everyone!
My 02 Ex has been in serious need of new rear sway bar bushings and links for some time now. I recently decided to quit procrastinating and get it done. However, I attempted to measure the diameter of the bar and could not seem to find a part that matches the size that I am reading. My measurements come out in the 21mm range, which is about 10mm smaller than the parts I can find.
Now, either I am measuring the bar wrong, (which is entirely likely) or I am an idiot and am not measuring the right bar. Also, I figured the front and rear sway bars differ in diameter, but I don't seem to find any bushings that specify front or rear, only ones that say "Front to frame", whatever that means. I have had someone who is more mechanically inclined tell me that it is in fact the rear sway bar, so I basically am taking thier word for it. Also, my Hayne's manual seems to be referring to the part as a stabilizer bar. Which I took to be synonymous with a "sway" bar.
If anyone has any idea what I am doing wrong, or maybe can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I am sure I can get the parts replaced, I just need to find the right part first!
Thanks!
