How the heck do i remove the rear mirror from the windshield. I have a custom mirror to install but I have messed with it and no luck. Any help would be great, and yes i did a search on here 1st with 0 threads found.

Well I have tried to pop a clip like part off and no luck and push from the bottom up and no go. Any help would be great on this.

I haven't looked but they usually have a spring clip that needs to be depressed or a small set screw to loosen then slide it up off the nub that's glued to the windshield. .

Thanks for that but I still cannot get this darn thing off. About to give up don't want a broken windshield.

Im having the same problem, I find no release screw to get the mount hub off of the mirror.

CAUTION: Do not use tools or other objects to pry the mount or interior mirror away from the windshield. Use of tools can damage the interior mirror/mount.

Remove the interior mirror.
Position the interior mirror in the full down position. Grasp the interior mirror and rotate, in a downward and toward the windshield direction, until it is released from the interior mirror windshield bracket.

It works but it makes me nervous every time I remove one! !

I'm having the total opposite problem! Mine keeps popping off :(

I have the same problem as voss24. Ive had to glue it on 3 times already.
