Rear window rattling

I have a 2000 explorer and y back windshiel rattles a lot. It seems like it’s loose. I tried tightening the visible screw. It slides up at the hinges. idk how else to explain it.

One fix possibly…

There should be a felt-like material wrapped around the metal catch for the rear window. The 96 I bought a few months ago was missing the felt. It rattled. I swapped another OEM one I had that as wrapped, rattling solved…

If the glass rattles, maybe a new weather seal fix it.
Some tape around the U-hook.
Tighten hinge bolts (maybe the threads are damaged).




or a adjustment of the latch.
