Rear Window Seal keeps falling down

I have a '92 XLT. The rear window seal keeps falling down. I was wondering what was supposed to keep it up. the seal doesn't looked damaged.

Its just the glue stuff that came off, no biggie. Either you have to deal with it or what i did was use silicone and permanently stick it to there. Been workin ever since

There is a weatherstrip glue that is designed to adhere to the rubber and bond it to the painted steel. It is available at any auto parts store. I have even seen it for sale at Wal-Mart.
