Hey guys, I hadn't posted here in a while, I've been recovering from a December accident that surprisingly didn't total my sport trac. I was rear ended by a Costco owned Penske semi truck and pushed into an F-350. My frame didn't bend and my airbags didn't go off and the cab of my ST barely took any damage. It was incredible. Anyhow, My truck had been under the knife for a while and I got it back only to find that the rear window assembly that they had to replace has water leaking into my ST between what appears to be the metal body of the truck and the rubber weather stripping outside. Now I attempted to tighten the bolts that sit on that assembly and it barely made a difference. I'm curious if anyone knows if there was some kind of factory adhesive that also sat between the entire rear assembly and the back glass pieces and the body of the truck as well. The water getting in is annoying, especially because my sound system is built on that very back wall and it rains A LOT in Georgia. And the window Moto is kicking the bucket as well it seems, when I roll down the window, it doesn't go to that first cracked position and stop, it just keeps, going. And when I go to roll it up i have to keep pressing the button over and over and watch it come up an inch at a time.

Is it possible your third brake light/ gasket was damaged in the collision?

I had leaks from the brake light and rear window both fixed under warranty. My advice take it back to the body shop and make them fix it. It after all is their responsability.

It's not from there, I took the rear panel out to watch where it was coming from. It's from the space between the rubber and the metal

I agree that it's their responsibility and these guys did an awesome job bringing it back to its former glory with a few upgrades lol. I normally would take it back to them but they're only 6 miles from me which is normally awesome but I cannot make it to them due to the fact that I work 40 miles away lol and by the time they open, I'm at work and by the time they close, I'm barely making it through ATL traffic
