Rear window wiper repair...

Hello all. I have been a member of the site for a while, but dont post too often. I have what might be a noobie question here. I tried to search the site for an answer before asking, but goodness! This site has soooooooo much information to look through I could not find what I needed.

The rear wiper on my 2000 Explorer Sport is all funked up. It only actually wipes the window about 30% of where it should. Anyone know how to adjust this issue easily? I have tried myself to bend and whack it into place, but I fear I have only made it worse.

EDIT: The wiper does not contact the glass correctly.

you mean the motor doesnt go far enough or the blade doesn't touch the windshield?

The motor works just fine. The wiper blade doesn't contact the windshield correctly.

Good Luck. I personally just clean the rear window really good and put RainX or other window treatment so that the rain won't stick to the rear window.
Not sure about snow since I'm in Hawaii.

what i did is just buy one of those windshield wiper arm spring. It worked a little better, and then i also added one of those reflex wipers, now it works way better then before.
