rear window won't lock

Hey, I'm new to the site so if this has already been beat to death, I apologize.

I have a 2001 explorer, keyless entry and power locks. Everything locks except the window on the rear lift gate. Is this a common problem? easy fix?

my guess is that the motor that locks the back window should be replaced
