Yep...the carbon shaft from the motor to the wiper arm has sheared. This happened because the parking base, located on the rear panel, just below the rear window, developed a ridge that caused the arm to stop prematurely. This happened to me.
Solution: File the parking base down to eliminate the ridge. Get a reman motor and install it, or rebuild your existing motor with a new shaft.
