I just had a two recalls done on my Ex. The rear liftgate bracket recall (it had broken) and had them do some sort of recall they pulled up on my power mirror switch. Upon researching the mirror recall, I learned that they had to place a fuse in the wiring of the power mirrors. Well after I got the recalls done, my power mirrors don't work at all anymore. I can't get either of them to move in any direction. Is there something I can do to fix this rather easily? I rather not take my Ex back to the dealer to fix if (if they would) cuz I don't have the time to do that, that often. Just wondering if any1 else has had this problem and if there's an easy fix to it such as just reconnecting something or cleaning some contacts.

did they put the fuse back in after adding a fuse harness to it? i would take it back and say look, i had this repair done and it doenst work at all now... fix it properly!

I pulled the switch cluster out and in the wires coming out of the mirror switch, I found where they cut into the wire and added the fuse unit right into the wire. There was a 10 amp fuse in the unit, so it seems connected properly, so I'm guessin I'd have to take the whole friggin switch out and see where it's not connected properly.

is the fuse itself blown? you normally cant see if it is when its in a holder

Nah, it's a brand new fuse and unit they put in there, I pulled it out and checked it and it was fine. I guess I'll just have to do what you said and take it back and have them fix it if I can find time. But if it requires new parts or something, I'm sure they'll want to charge me a crapload more than necessary even if they were responsible. But I dunno, they might actually fix it for free, they were really nice and I had no problems having them do my recalls.
