need help with my mirror

I have a 2002 XLT 2 WD with power mirror..
the one on the right side is broken..
my question is, how do i know if the mirror i heated or not
it doenst have the puddle light..

Normally heated mirrors will have a little "defrost" symbol etched onto the surface of the mirror, or the word "Heated".

so mine are not heated.. my next question is..
can i fit heated mirrors? is the wiring allready there?
and how do they work= are they heated automatic or do i have to push some button for heating them up?

I doubt the wiring is already there, but you never know. They are normally hooked into the circuit that runs the rear window defrost - when you turn the rear window defrost on, it heats the mirrors as well.
