Reese rear receiver on, looking for front receiver

Got a good deal on a Reese 6K Class 3 hitch for my wife's 98 XLT Explorer. It was a 30 minute job to install only b/c I didn't have help, took me 10 minutes to figure out how to prop the ends up with my feet (boats are good for something).

At any rate, now I'd like a front receiver hitch. Any suggestions?? The looks I got when I asked about it made me think I was asking for a non-existent item, but I know a Ranger fellow that has one.

Warn Industries makes one as part of their multi-mount system. Cabelas has them.

Hidden hitch makes a front receiver for late model Explorers. I got mine through Explorer Express, but JC Whitney may carry them as well. It helped get me unstuck in New Jersey a few weeks ago.

Never knew Cabela's did trucks!! Makes sense!

I went to Explorer Express, didn't see anything about front hitches on their website.

Got frustrated, then clued in - generic websearch and I found Reese Hitches online.

Pretty cool stuff. Gonna get the front receiver plus the skidplate (coulda used that on my Ranger, I ripped the front license plate off recently).

Brian, Explorer Express has them. It's just not listed on their webpage. Call them and ask them for a cateloge. That show everything.

I made my own front hitch and I made it very strong. Once you get your hitch you may want to weld some gussets to it if you are able to. I can probably hang my Explorer from my front hitch
