Is there a way to stop the reflection of the AC vent on the outside rear view mirror? Is anyone else seeing this?
I thought that maybe after getting my front windows tinted I wouldn't see the reflection anymore, but I was wrong.
This can be very distracting, I'm slowly getting used to it and trying hard not to let it bother me.

I had my windows tinted the day after I picked up my car, so I don't remember what it looked like before they were done. Tinting makes it worse, nothing you can do about it. You'll get used to it.

You could always buff the mirror with a hershey bar.

I've noticed it a few times but don't really pay any attention to it. Doesn't bother me. Besides, I use the small convex mirrors that I stuck on for most of my viewing anyway.

The reflection annoyed me at first, but I no longer notice it. I have had '12 Ex since last labor day.

I can honestly say I've never noticed it......

I, too had a light tint put on both front windows and it makes the reflection much worse. It does keep some more solar rays out. I matched the color of the rear widows, but slightly lighter.

Yep.. I've noticed that... Those vents pop right off.. I guess we could paint them with a flat black...

Never noticed it...although I'm sure I will now not be able to stop looking at it. LOL. Maybe it depends on the way the mirrors are angled, maybe thats why some have never noticed it??

I had 2-2009 Exp/Eddie Bauer and a 2012 Exp/XLT, they all have the same reflection.
