regearing question

ok im gonna regear from 3.73 to 5.13s so i can run 38s and i saw that there is 5.13 regular and 5.13 reverse cut? whats the one that i need? and if i need reverse for the front, do i need that in the rear? or can it be regular too?

not really, because i dont know the answer but i do know that there are diffrent types of d44's out there and some use standard gear sets and some use reverse gear sets

Nope, there are reverse cut and standard cut D44s. You need to know the exact axle.

The 8.8 is standard cut, although there isn't any such thing as reverse cut 8.8 gears.

There is such a thing as a reverse cut 8.8. It's used in the 1/2 ton IFS.
