ok im gonna regear from 3.73 to 5.13s so i can run 38s and i saw that there is 5.13 regular and 5.13 reverse cut? whats the one that i need? and if i need reverse for the front, do i need that in the rear? or can it be regular too?

ok well im using dana 44 in front and the 8.8 in the rear. does that help u answer my question?
 






not really, because i dont know the answer :D but i do know that there are diffrent types of d44's out there and some use standard gear sets and some use reverse gear sets

Nope, there are reverse cut and standard cut D44s. You need to know the exact axle.

The 8.8 is standard cut, although there isn't any such thing as reverse cut 8.8 gears.
 






ok well thanks. and when i buy a d44 axle ill find out the cut and order that one, thanks.
 






and when i regear them, do i just buy the ring and pinion gears and thats it?

There is such a thing as a reverse cut 8.8. It's used in the 1/2 ton IFS.
