Relay question??

I purchased a set of driving lights and in the instructions it does not mention wiring with a relay. The lights use 55 w H3 bulbs.

Is it recommended to use a relay anyway?

let me guess, cheap set of lights? you are ALWAYS better off using a relay, sometimes it isn't 100% necessary (see the other thread titled "do I need a relay?") for a more thourough answer.
