The problem that I'm having with my explorer is that when I drive it in any kind of surface or speed I hear a Clicking sound from under the dash, like some kind of relay that's going on or off, it doesn't make it when I'm standing still, only when I'm driving, It happens at every hour so it isn't the lights or something like that, and also the gauges don't move or flicker. Can someone help me...is this normal or it's a problem waiting to surface.

mine does the same thing from time to time. i think its normal, and i fixed the problem by turning up the radio. i wouldent worry about it, im not worried about it in my explorer. (but mine has a lot of bigger problems to worry about!!)

It could be your AC compressor. Not in the dash but could project the sound like that.

Thanks that's what I wanted to know... if someone else heard the same thing on their x's. And me too I also turn up the radio.....

I was thinking that maybe the a/c relay kicking in, or something like that, to warm the engine up....
