can anybody help me??? ??:D

long answer....

I've done it. I welded 3" blocks to the top of the frame. I then measured up 3" from the holes the brackets from the guard bolt to and made holes in the block. I cut the shoehorn looking thing off the front of the frame, moved it up 3" and welded it to the block. So everything is up 3"... now the fun part.

Mounted the BG brackets, drilled holes in the frame where they needed to be for the bolts to go through the bracket. Took the brackets back off, spaced them out from the frame with washers so now the BG mounts inside the brackets instead of outside. The hard part is forcing the BG to fit around the frame because its a tight fit. Had to trim the tip of the BG where the bolt holes are at a bit because it was hitting the front body mounts.

Get what I'm describing?

Good luck!

Ok, how does your bumper look? I mean, does it look even on both sides? I had those special brackets made and my front bumper hangs down a tad bit on the sides, but not terribly noticable. Did you have to cut out any of the front bumper? Did you cut the whole shoehorn off the frame rail, and raise the front up that way, or did you use lift brackets?

oh, by the way, im interested in joining the club!!:D

The bumper looks just like it came from the factory. I did have to cut a little bit of metal off of one pair of the tabs that mount the airdam so that it wouldn't hit the frame. I did cut off and reuse the shoehorn thing, no brackets. This way my bumper will still be strong for an impact. (have tested on deer :( and it worked fine)
