Remote Function Actuator

I double checked the part # and went to the site you suggested and purchased the correct part you all have been life savers for me. Joining this site has been a blessing thank you one and all
thats why were here ;)
 






I have a 2013 Ford Explorer that has not been drivable for over a month due to a Remote function Actuator going out. Was informed that by Ford motor company and the dealership that the part is no longer available and A used part will not work because of security issues and such. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The dealership won't even offer me any money as a trade in because of it being A brick that they cannot fix. The part when last availble was $400.00 and made in China. Any suggestions will be considered.
What are the symptoms that led to the diagnosis of remote function actuator. Module
.my 2014 hasn't started for 2 months

If other PATS DTCs are present, address them first. If DTC B10D8:51 is the only DTC present, PROGRAM additional keys (minimum of 2 keys must be programmed). Key Programming Using Diagnostic Equipment . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.​

There is an incorrect BCM ID stored in the RFA module. CARRY OUT a parameter reset, then CYCLE the ignition and make an attempt to start the vehicle. Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Parameter Reset . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.​
