I have a 2014 Ford Explorer that has not been drivable for over 4 months due to a Remote function Actuator going out. Originally was thought to be the most control module so replaced that and now needs the keyless entry module. Was informed by ford that another part ending in a different letter will not work because of security issues and such. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I’ve searched everywhere to find a matching part and have had multiple confirmed correct shipped over from Chicago salvage yards only to be let down. Or if anyone has found a work around on this issue and can give me any t I would beyond appreciate it. Single mom with no vehicle for months and I go back to work from summer break in two weeks.
