Anyone tell me how to increase my range for my remote
control, have put new batteries in but no more than about 10 ft from the car it wont work.

put it against the side of your face, look at the truck, and press the button, someone told my parents that for ours lol, could get up to 50 feet when the guy tried it.

Though i doubt that will work

you have a 97. It is entirely possible the battery is getting weak.

i've already tried new batteries. what is the average range that you guys get?

check your instruction book it said to extend the antena wire (Run it through your A Pillar) or something of the kind

does it have its own antenna wire? or do you mean the radio antenna?
