I'm trying to remove the 2nd row bucket seat in my 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. It has the inflatable rear seat belt. I can remove the seat easy enough but this also disables the entire air bag system (air bag light comes on and was told this by Ford technician).

Is there a solution for removing a seat but keeping the air bag system working.

Thanks

Although I can't recall for sure, but I don't think anyone has posted about removing a 2nd row bucket seat altogether. There are a few threads about members wanting to change a bench to buckets and talked about whether or not inflatable belts were involved.
