Removing/eplacing black plastic piece around stereo/heater controls/center vents?

'96 Explorer. The black plastic piece around my stereo/heater controls/center vents has a chip/scratch in the paint. Any suggestions on removing or replacing?

Removing it is simple...like 2-3 screws down by the heater controls, then the rest are just clips gotta pry um off...

remove it and disconnect all the electrical stuff, then paint it/ buy new one. there are 3 (i belive 5.5MM, its a small metric size) screws under the lip above the heater control knobs. remove those then carefully pry around the outside edge and it will come out. the 4x4 selector switch, rear wiper knob, defrost knob and radio are all still attached to the radio bezel, so carefully un do the electricla stuff. when i took mine off i left the radio on the bezel and took it inside to take the radio off of it. good luck
