2002 Ford Explorer XLS
Hi everyone. I currently have an Alpine MRP-M350 amp that was powering 2 Alipine E 12 subwoofers. My truck is a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS. I took out the woofers a year back or so and now I'm looking to get the amp out so I can sell it. I'd like to keep all the chords that came with it for better value. Anyways, I'm not a car-savvy kinda guy. Just never had the time to learn a whole lot about it. I had the subs and amp hooked up by Sound Advice so I have never seen the process of the hook up. The cables that are hooked up to the amp go into a panel just behind the 2nd row of seats on the driver-side of my truck. If anyone has any idea of how I may get it all unplugged I'd highly appreciate it! I'd like to do it myself so I can learn something about my car and so I don't have to go to anyone to get it un-installed. Thanks for the help and assistance!

Well if it's still hooked up to the stereo, there's gonna be RCA's (the red and white plugs) that connect the amp to it.. Then there's gonna be a red wire that goes to the battery (connected to a fuse and then the + terminal, which you can just disconnect), and a short black wire that's bolted down somewhere near the amp (which you can unbolt).. Once you look near the battery to see what the power cable looks like, you should be able to see it inside down near the floor where the pedals are, and where it leads to.. Same for the RCA's which should be on the other side, which you can see when you pull the stereo out, which you're gonna have to do anyways.. If they did a nice job on the install, everything is gonna be tucked away out of sight though.
