removing rear brake rotor help

i tried to remove my rear brake rotor on my 97 exp awd last week while replacing pads and couldnt get it off. is there some tipe of tool or do i just need to give it a good wack with a mallet.

The tool is called a BFH. Beat the damn thing off, its the best method. The rotor is usually rusted on pretty good.

thats what i thought. just like romoving the barrel out of my ak kit. use a bfh

Back off the e-brake from the little plug at the back. (you have got it off right?)
