How do I remove the spindle/knuckle thingy in the rear? It's the peice that is attached to the axle, and then the caliper bolts onto it (it's also seems house the parking brake). I see the 4 bolts that attach it to the axle, but there has to be more then unbolting those and pulling out. For instance, there's this wierd thingy in the middle of it where on the front a nut would be... but it's not a nut on the rear (if that's makes sense).

Thanks.

('97, so solid axle by the way)

Here's a pictures of what I'm talking about;

So this hub is actually attached to the axle in the rear? God, that sucks.

Yep, axle shaft has to come out completely to remove the rear caliper bracket. Even if you could remove the bolts with everything in place, you can't get the bracket past the axle hub.

Not positive, but I think the e-brake shoes/hardware are also in the way of the bolts/nuts. They may have to be removed too. The e-brake cable isn't exactly easy to remove from the bracket either.
