Removing stock D35 pumpkin

Issue: Front third member wont detach from driverside beam. Beam still attached to the truck.

I did a search and didnt find much, so I figured i start a thread. There was a post from NOTAJP where he stated pull straight back to get the pumpkin off. HEHE its not comming. Crow-bar, hammer, i dont wanna beat on that aluminuum too much, but it aint movin'!

Anyone got any tricks to getting that 14 yr old RTV to peal?

Last resort is to take the beam off the truck. Which is no biggie, i just wanted to try and get it off the easy way.

You carve those at Halloween. Its big and and orange. Sorry I had to. It's the front differential.

Haha well no, I don’t have the vertical bolt out. I have it loose, but the pumpkin should swing out even with the bolt in right? I was planning on just chopping its head off once I got the pumpkin detached from the beam, (it isn’t absolutely necessary to have is it?)

i guess i just gotta take the beam off haha.

Ok, this vertical bolt was a PINA to remove, i ended up taking the sawzall to it.

I would like to replace this bolt, would it be wise to grind the radius arm to clear this bolt? I guess it needs a 1/2in grinded out, at the most. Its not going to weaken the arm too much will it?

EDIT: I talked to the TTB god himself, mr 410fortune, his comments suggest grinding the arm/beam to clear this bolt as highly recommended. With Aftermarket arms it will be more prevalient that you do this to remove the pig.
