I recently decided to try'n add an AUX input to my old (2004) Sport Trac which required the removal of the radio. To that end I decided to make my own removal tools rather than spend the few bucks required for a tool I would probably only use once. Plus I always enjoy 'beating the system'. So if you every need to remove yours and don't want to invest more than the price of a coat hanger (or a length of 1/8" gas welding rod)... you can watch this little Youtube video I cobbled together.

Pretty slick. I like making my own "seldom used" tools too.

Nails get the job done. I used a few 3 1/2 inch finishing nails to get mine out.

That's what I have always used on my older Fords.

I want to know more about the AUX jack so I can play my Ipod..

There's some at best buy that are like $10 and you just plug it in to the antennae and connect it to power and ground it and it plays through your radio on a certain station. I know it's not the same a an aux but it works. I had one in my cobra so that it still looked factory
