Removing the "Sport" badge from rear hatch

Has anyone removed the badge from the rear hatch of an X Sport. I want to remove the one that says sport because its red backround sticks out and looks goofy. What I want to know is, is it just glued on, or are there posts through the metal? If there are posts I guess I will just leave it there, don't really want to have to fill the holes.

There are no holes behind it, just heat it up, peel it off, clean off the excess adhesive, and put a nice coat of wax on the area.
