How do I remove wax from the trim around the windows and the door moldings? I just waxed it so I don't want to wash it with dawn.

wd-40

i dont know how to remove the wax from the black trim, but the next time you wax your truck, put some "back to black" or one of those black trim 'shine-up' products on there before you wax it. when youre done waxing you can go back and just wipe the wax off the black trim. hope this helps for future waxing.

Matt's da man. WD-40 works great for this.

you can also use a eraser to do this. it works great

It's going to sound funny, but peanut butter(non chunky) works. I'm not kidding it really does!

Meguires "Back to Black" works great I have found- about $ 5 at most auto parts stores..

I want to know how this was discovered... kind of like the perst people that made coffee... "hey, if we crush this beans in to tiny grounds, then run hot water through them and filter out the grounds, it will make a good drink with lots of caffiene!"

The guy who makes the Zaino car polish suggested it to me. I tried it, & it really worked! www.zainobros.com

The only problem I have with Back to Black is that it is sort of runny and doesnt cover all that well. The type of plastic around the door mouldings always seems to disperse it also. I always use whatever prep I used on the vehicle to clean the smooth plastic, swirl remover etc.
