I think www.off-road.com had an issue to do the prep and painting for that. Go to their site and look around. It was years ago, sorry I can't be more specific.

alright ill check it out

Hopefully that was the place. After I got my Ex I seen it for the side door trim. There is a special paint for the "black trim". Good luck!

on my old 91 sport, when i didnt know any better, i had those black pieces around the rear windshield painted, along with the black along the rockers. i forget the price - this was about 6-7 years ago.

yeah those are fading to should i use trim paint for all of it?

I seen a guy when I was in Korea with a "94 Jeep Cherokee that was Rino-lined all over the whole exterior of the truck. He never had to worry about buffing out scratches. I think I seen a link to it on www.off-road.com as well! But at the time the pic wouldn't come up. It was at OSAN Air Force Base, in S. Korea.

LOL next rpohect rineoline outside of car lol yeah i dont c that happening

There was a thread here a few months ago about this. Unfortunately, I don't remember the thread name or member name! It was a very detailed fix description with pictures and brand of paint to match well. Search around, and let the rest of us know if you find it.

I've done it to my 92. I used a semi-gloss black paint and semi-gloss clearcoat to do it. I decided not to go with the Trim Black because I didn't think that it would be the deep black that I wanted. I also think I posted on that thread that RangerX refered to, so if you do a search, key in my username as well. It should be in the "Body Work and Detailing" forum.

I belive this is the thread, I only saw the Rihno Lining mentioned once though.. Dead Link Removed . I must say his Explorer turned out quite nice, it's giving me Ideas as I have noticed little white dots appearing on my hood much like the way his was

I posted these back in the day, but cant find the old thread. Here is the outcome of my project. I just used the trim paint you can find at autozone. It has help up really well.
Just remember, whatever you do... tape it off so you dont overspray!!!
