Repair manuals

I want to order either a Chilton or Haynes Repair Manual for our 2006 Explorer XLT 4.0 L. The Haynes book covers 2002 - 2006 Explorers. Does anyone know if one is better than the other? ALSO - I am curious why their repair manuals don't coincide with the model years. - Like I would have expected a manual to cover the generation of 2006 - 2010. Just curious. Thanks - RD

Both of them are general manuals. Helm Publications sells the original manuals from Ford with factory diagrams. The Ford CD/DVD manual is also good.
