Ok here the deal. I am about 99% sure that my throw out bearing is about to crap out. When clutch is disengaged in neutral i have an awful clatter from underneath. After three hours of driving last weekend the clutch would not disengage and later when i came to a stop light i had to force it into 1st gear. When the X is cooled down the tranny is not as bad. Anyway, my question is should I go ahead and have the throw replaced before it totally fails or wait until it fails? If I have the throw out replaced then i will also have everything else in the tranny replaced as well. Thanks in advance.

replace it as soon as you can.
While there i agree replace the cluch plate, throwout bearing, resurface the flywheel, replace the pilot bearing and any slave cylinder parts(not sure if yours has power assist or not),or atleast have the slave cylinders fluid replaced.
Since you have everything torn apart its worth the money(probaly around 160.00-230.00 for the parts and your labor).
Plan on a 1/2 to full day(remember you need time to take the flywheel to get turned down(even when there is no hot marks or seen damage it still could be heat warped so spend the 20-40$ and do it right the first time).
Get a friend or 2 to help(trans is heavy) and a case of beer for afterwards.
Better than paying 100's on labor ;)
goodluck.
