I was wondering if anybody has been successful in repairing their rear window defrosters. When I purchased my truck last year, it came with tinted windows all around. The previous owner for some reason put a layer of tint all around the already factory tinted window. Anyway, removed it all around because the factory 20% tint is good enough for me.

Now I noticed in the Winter weather that one line is out. It could just be coincidence, or perhaps one line was damaged when the tint was removed. Anyway of fixing this? All the others are fine, but just that one is out.

Auto parts stores have defroster repair kits. I't a conductive epoxy you apply to the break in the line. The tricky part is finding the break. if you can't see it, you can use an ohm meter to pinpoint it.

Mine has one broke too. That is good info.
