Replace lower oil pan gasket

I own a 2002 Ranger LXT 4.0 I want to replace my oil pan gasket but there are three bolts that I cannot reach, it is under the engine crossmember. If I need to raise the engine to get to the three bolts, where do I jack the engine up.
I would like more information on replacing lower oil pan gasket like loosening the transmission mount so I can raise the engine or can I reach the three boats from the front if I loosen the rack and pinion?
