Hi there, has anyone changed out the factory 8"sub on the adrenalin? If so how did you do this. I would like to keep my nav deck in place and add a sub amp and new subs. I have taken apart the factory unit and located the wires on the harness to the amp. There are two wires which i believe are low level signals. Is one a pos and one a neg line?? also is there a device on the market that will convert those lines to RCA which will plug into an amp?

Thx

Stinger has a box that converts normal speaker wires to RCA output.

I have changed the factory sub out to a 10". I bought a box enclosure from my friends audio shop. I believe it is an MTX unit. I had it in my 02 ST. It mounts or sits under the rear seat. You can keep your factory nav deck. I have a Audio Control unit called the LC7, it think. It converts the factory speaker levels into RCA which you would then run to aftermarket amps. I have that as well. I just removed my factory deck for an aftermarket unit. My truck did not come with the factory nav unit. It would have cost me around the $3500 to get one in.
