Replacement 6.5 Sub in my '97

My 11 year old JBL sub finally gave in. Not really an audio guy so I need help here, what's a good value SUB that would fit right in with correct wattage power? OR can I modify the existing box and put an 8" sub in there?

Yes, you can carve out to make room for an 8" sub...

jl audio makes an 8" sub and so does mtx. i dont know how many watts the factory amp is, otherwise i could maybe be a little more helpful, but for now, jl and mtx.
