Replacement Side Mirror Light Socket

Couldn't decide if this should be in stock or modified. Anyway, the courtesy light in my driver side mirror looks to have started a bit of a fire inside of its housing. The socket is now completely charred and while I could probably clean it up and make it work again I'd rather just replace it.

I drive a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer, 4WD 4.0L. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement light socket without purchasing an entirely new mirror? Also does anyone know the bulb type? There's no markings on it.

Looks like a 168 or 194 bulb socket.
