What's a good replacement tire for my Sport Trac? It's my daily driver with mostly highway driving, but I need the occasional snow traction and light offroad driving. I see Ford is putting Michelins on the 2008's. Any idea what model they are?

Thanks.

Michelins have always had good tires.. I'd go with them if the price didn't matter.

My OEMs were Wranglers and I put 70K miles on them. I still had tread left but they were getting weather rotted so I replaced them. My current set are BFG Radial Long Trails and I have 80K miles and still have tread left but they didn't wear evenly and are very noisy. Am I getting this good mileage because the tires are hard? I'm willing to give a little on the mileage for a quieter and smoother ride.

My wranglers have 50,000 miles on them and I am getting ready to replace also. I can't stand them. The squeal around the slightest bend in the road, not sure because the tire design, alignment problem or just because they are old. I most likely will go with the BFG all terrains...

My 91 explorer has 327,000 mi on it. After the origional set with 75,000 and still with tread I started using michelins. I can get 75 - 80,000 no problem now on fourth set. Discount tire avrage 120 each has been a good investment.

Well, I bought the Michelin X Radial LTs this morning. Rides really nice and is meaty looking. I only used two sets for my first 150,000 miles so I'm fairly pleased. I'll let you know how these Michelins hold up.
