I have been wanting to add a cold air intake to boost HP and Acceleration However, I have been having a great deal of trouble finding one that may fit. if any of you know of a complete replacement intake system please let me know!

here are my specs:

Be careful when looking at the designs because some manufacturers call their kits CAI, but they are pulling the hot air from inside the engine compartment. The factory box is already good for pulling the cooler outside air, so my recommendation is to just get an aftermarket high flow drop in filter.
Also, the 4.0 was designed more for torque and is pretty hard to get large performance gains out of the later models without major modifications.

Absolutely. These stock intakes are very good and closer to a true CAI's than
any aftermarket design, excluding Volant's. Use a good drop in and sleep well.

Alright sounds good, I already found a K&N drop in at auto zone so ill pick it up tomorrow, And yeah I know they are geared more for torque but i was just looking for a little power boost.

Thanks for all the help guys!

 Very important NOT to over oil and clean the filter too often.
K&N's "normal" service interval is 50K, maybe half that for off road.

If you want some quick and easy HP/TQ gains then pick up a superchips 1865 flashpak. It will give you 8/14 on the 87 tune (stock explorer) and improve the throttle response and transmission shifts. I have one and think that it is great especially since the only engine modifications that are ever getting done to my vehicle is the K/N filter and cat-back exhaust.

Yeah, I just bought the vehicle 2 weeks ago with 59,000mi. and it still has the original air filter on it so i figured i would do an upgrade rather then replace it with another stock filter. And i never heard of Superchips before...is it safe for the cpu?

Completely safe. The unit downloads the factory programming and stores it in the unit before overwriting any settings. You can return to stock programming at any time.

i second that i have the superchips cortex 1950 for my 05, 4.0 xlt and i love it. it have a gas saver tune the 87 tune, the stock with options tune, performance tune. you can also adjust rev limiter, tire size, gear ratio. also has real time read outs of your 02 sensors and fuel rail pressure the thing has it all. The thing i love most about it is the diagnostic read outs, basically reads your codes when the check engine light comes on. i have saved so much money in repairs using this lets you read your codes and gives you a detailed description of what the code is so if your mechanically inclined saves $$.

wow nice! im gonna have to pick one of those up!, and are any of you guys familiar with Fuel additives. one of my buddies told me to put one in to clean my fuel injection system but i have never used one so I am skeptical about running it through my engine.

Only thing I've put in my gas was Lucas fuel treatment from autozone and seafoam
