After being sidetracked by making a living, I am able to devote some time to my son's 96 2wd Explorer. after tearing it down to the block we discovered a crack in the #2 cylinder. I have found a "drop in" replacment from a person I trust and we are ready to proceed. But I had a question ( 1st of many as we proceed ). The Chiltons manual says to "matchmark the flywheel of the torque converters position. Since I will not be using the same block and flywheel how do I position the converter on the replacement? Any advice will be helpful and greatly appreciated.
