Replacing Fuel Filter in 5.0 Explorer

Was going to replace the Fuel Filter on my Explorer. I don't think its ever been replaced!

Where is it located? Do I need special tools to remove it?

Thanks, but that is for a 4.0 V6 explorer.

If I remember correctly it is on the inside of the frame rail right under the driver's door. You do need a special tool for it but you can get that at the auto parts store for like $8.
