i was thinking of removing the headlamps from my 96. The PIAA Pro 90 looks like it will fit in the same spot without too much work. I am pretty andy with fiberglass, so I'll fab some kind of trim ring to fill in the gaps left by removing the factory lights.

Do you guys think that the Pro 90 is a good enough light to use as a headlight system? I would use the projector as the low beam, and the driving light as the high beam.

What do you guys think? Matt (Mr. PIAA)?

is it good enough? Hell ya. Would it fit? I think with some custom work it would look awesome. HOWEVER, not DOT approved, and not 50-state legal, so don't piss off any cops!

Can you get the 90 with a clear lense for the projector light??? All I have seen are the yellow"ion crystal".

PIAA part number 9050. Clear fog/clear driving.

Illegal?

What states are the 90s not legal in? Just curious. Do you know if MA is one of them?

I'd highly doubt there legal anywhere, at least not as standard headlights. They are SAE approved but that doesn't mean much... Best bet would be to call your Department of Transportation, etc and see what the exact laws state.

That's not gonna be legal. Just runnin with those on your truck at night?? I don't think so. Let me try to pull that stunt.
