I am in the process of putting a "new to me" 2003 Explorer XLT Sport back in like new condition. I just purchased it and although it is in very good cond., many little things have been let go. I repaired the solder joints at the resistors in the OHC and that works now but, the temp reads 25 degrees too high all the time. I assume a new sensor will be needed. How do I remove it from in front of the radiator and is there a plug that plugs in the replacement? I don't want to break the mounting tab on the support rail. Is there a plug in the harness farther up or at the sensor itself? Thanks...I'll post pics when I can. .....Jim:us:
