The Ford manual I have says to discard the wheel bolt once it is removed. Do I need to use a new bolt, or can the old one be re-used? If it does need replacing, is there a p/n for it?

I'd also appreciate any tips or tricks on how to do this properly. I will use a wheel puller to remove it from the shaft, and I am fairly comfortable dealing with the airbag based on the instructions.

usually the steering wheel comes with the bolt
if it doesnt then you can reuse the old one
I do it all the time.

The only tip that comes to mind is to loosen the bolt till like three turns before you remove it, then instal the steering wheel puller.
Meaning dont put the puller on the shaft

UPS dropped it off this afternoon, no bolt included. I had a feeling you could re-use it, but I wanted to make sure it was safe to do so.

Thanks.
