Replacing the green LED dash lights?

After taking my dash apart to install my indiglo's I noticed the light switch had a green LED to light the switch green at night. I'm sure that the lights on the radio trim are probably the same but I am unsure.

Has anyone replaced these green LED's with another color?

I have seen it done befor on another Forum that I belong to. They seem not to be real hard as long as you find the right led's with the right ohms and stuff. Other wise a lot of wireing and resestors need to be added to run different led's. I don't know much about the subject though just from what I have looked at quickly.

Seen it done many times, but I havent done it myself.
