I have a 97 XLT, 4 Door. Does anyone know if the power door locks can be reporgramed so that all 4 doors unlock when the key is turned off? Now, none of the doors unlock. Only the two front doors will open when the inside handle is operated. None of the doors unlock when the key is turned off. I don't have an owners manual.

No, they cannot be programmed to unlock. That feature did not become available until around 2004 if my memory serves.

As for the inside pull not working on the rear doors, there are more than a few threads on the subject. it could be that the child safety locks are engaged to disable the inside pull, or it could be defective latches. Run a search and you'll find several threads on the issue.

For the owner's manual, check the motorcraft site. Yours can be downloaded for free. :)
