Resistor HP "chips"

I was just wondring if anyone has had experience using any of these "chips" you see on ebay and other places. just a resistor i think. what sensor do they take the place of, what resistance are they and do they really help overall?? thanks

You will not get any gains from these, do a search there are plenty of threads about this. Don't waste your time or money.

Ever seen a weather rock? They are acutally useful. It tells you the weather outside.

You sit a rock outside a window...if its wet, its raining...if its dry, its sunny...if its white, its snowing. No googly eyes like a pet rock though.
