Resistor HP "chips"

I was just wondring if anyone has had experience using any of these "chips" you see on ebay and other places. just a resistor i think. what sensor do they take the place of, what resistance are they and do they really help overall?? thanks

Garbage. Why buy anything that doesn't even include an acurate picture? At like Ben said, why is this an emergency?

Dont ever bother with the resistor.
 






Ever seen a weather rock? They are acutally useful. It tells you the weather outside. :p

You sit a rock outside a window...if its wet, its raining...if its dry, its sunny...if its white, its snowing. No googly eyes like a pet rock though.
