Rewinding cables for rear window

Does anyone know how or if the cables can be rewound on the spool that the motor causes to raise and lower the rear window? I had trouble with my rear window and took the motor loose and jerked the spool and cables loose. Is this something that i would have to take to the dealership to get fixed?

Never had one that far apart. You'll probably need a new regulator.
