I need some opinions on this I was to the point to where I was tighting the LH threaded bolt that attaches the timing sprocket to the cam. I got side tracked and torqued the bolt to the wrong spec. I torqued the bolt to 63 ft.lbs. using the special tool that comes with the 6488 timing kit. Your supposed to torque the bolt to 63 ft.lbs. with out the special tool and if using the tool your supposed to torque the bolt to 45 ft.lbs.
Do you think I can still use the bolt even though I over torqued the bolt or should I just play it safe and buy a new bolt from the dealer? A new bolt is about 15 bucks. I Looked at the threads in the camshaft and they look ok. Im kicking my self in the a** right now.:fire:
thanks for the replies
