Ride Height
Hello All
Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. Iv'e been reading great stuff posted here. It's been real helpful so far.
Anyway, my 97 2dr sport was showing signs of front end wear. You know wandering, uneven tire wear, etc. I jacked it up and checked for ball joint play. None. Even when I got the big pry bar out, still no play. So I started reading the manual and looking at the suspension itself. Found that the top of the tire was already adjusted out as far as it was going to go. HMMMmm..
I figured for some reason to check the ride height. He heee. It was about 2" if you can belive that! Ford says between 4.35 and 4.5 is correct. So I adjusted it back to where it needs to be. Man what a difference. Feels like a different truck. Just thought I'd pass it along.
