I have a roaring noise under the passenger side on my 99 XLT 4WD with 87k miles. I had a mechanic check, and the rotor is warped, but he also thinks the bearing is possibly at fault,(but it may be the rotor). No one seems to carry just the bearing, they want ~$200 for the hub assembly. Are there any cheaper things to try first before replacing it?
